Our 2011 Conference was held on Saturday, 2 April at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, Essex.

We were very pleased to welcome back both Suzanne Zeedyk & Angela Underdown , to our 2011 conference.  All agreed it was an excellent day and great new venue for the Guild.

Suzanne Zeedyk spoke about the importance of oxytocin in brain development and the need for positive parenting; how positive touch can play an important role in this and, if lacking, the profound long-term affects this potentially may have. 

Angela Underdown has been involved with exploring how babies communicate with their caregivers and with peers and updated us on her results, using video clips to support her presentation.
